A lively hub for Milton Park

The project’s aim was to turn an office building with a traditional floor plan into a multifunctional space. The Bee House had to become an attractive and lively workplace with co-working spaces, conference and meeting facilities, a café, and break-out areas. The Bee House is now a connecting hub for the surrounding Milton Park. With a renewed, pedestrian-friendly outdoor space, it has become a nice place to relax for a moment while the bees fly past.

New light wells and ReFelt’s acoustic panels

The highlight of The Bee House design are two newly constructed light wells. They bring natural light to the various spaces and workstations on the ground floor. Part of these wells and adjacent ceilings are covered with Stripes Acoustic PET Felt Panels. These dark grey PET Felt panels bring peace to the busy location due to their excellent acoustic properties. At the same time, the design with its beautiful pattern adds extra flair to the space.

Versatile and sustainable PET Felt material

ReFelt acoustic panels improve the sound-experience of a space because they are produced from PET Felt: an innovative and highly sustainable material made from recycled plastic bottles. The panels are easy to apply to both walls and ceilings and are available in multiple variants and colours.
