Citadium was introduced as a department store brand in 2000. It exclusively focuses on a younger audience, which can be seen in their cool interior, neon signs, inspirational words from artists and the wide range of stores they have. From local and niche brands to big names such as Nike, Adidas, and Levi’s — they certainly know how to attract their audience.
Fiction Factory Amsterdam did an outstanding job designing a store that fits both the Citadium style and the Nike brand identity. Bright colours and special light effects contribute to an exciting customer experience. To support the brand’s sustainability promise, the designers used PET Felt panels by ReFelt as a background. The panels, made of recycled plastic bottles, have also great acoustic properties, which come in handy in such stores.
