Working with the personal data of clients, Easyflex is strongly concerned with privacy issues. Therefore, separating the visitor flow from the internal organization with privacy-sensitive data was the conceptual basis for their office design.
At the same time, the company wanted to promote open communication between the teams. Thus, the main challenge of this project was to balance privacy and collaboration. How to create an open character inside the working areas, while separating them from the outside?
Oomen Architecten managed to create a sense of desired privacy without compromising an inviting atmosphere. A clear organization of the business units, open sightlines, a lobby and a welcoming staircase as a connecting element. All designed with a subtle separation between public and private.
The natural materials used in the interior make it pleasant for employees. Additionally, the office provides many flexible workstations and meeting points, where people can collaborate.
To bring noises to a minimum, the architects covered the walls with acoustic PET Felt panels. Four colours of panels are puzzled into a graphic pattern, serving as a decorative element of this interior. Thanks to the sound-dampening properties of PET Felt, the panels improve the acoustics throughout open spaces.
