Activating learning environment

de ruimdenkers completed an extensive renovation project for The Marnix Academie in Utrecht. With the goal to host groups of various sizes and facilitate different activities, the new study areas offer flexible furniture solutions and adjustable layouts. Moreover, the design team renovated the entrance area to offer a warm welcome to the students and visitors.

Designed for flexibility

The new interior steps away from a concept of a traditional study room, bringing a dynamic element into it. Custom-made grandstand objects, panels and benches can be arranged in the space according to the changing needs, allowing users to create a completely unique setting for each activity. Designed with acoustic PET Felt material, the movable panels also dampen the noises, bringing distractions to a minimum.
