In the heart of Paris’s 9th arrondissement, the editorial teams of the Figaro Group have moved into a 9,000 m² building designed to support their daily work. With an auditorium, open-plan offices, meeting rooms, and a large reception area, the space is arranged to accommodate both journalists and visitors. The design, led by Sabourin Costes, focuses on openness, natural light, and efficient use of space. A combination of repurposed furniture, custom-made elements, and pieces by independent designers gives the interior a warm yet functional character. The choice of materials reflects the studio’s commitment to sustainability, with durable options such as acoustic PET felt.
As part of this focus on functionality and comfort, our camel PET Felt Slats panels were used as wall panelling in built-in nooks throughout the building. These quiet alcoves offer journalists and visitors a more private place to work or unwind, with the acoustic panels helping to absorb sound and reduce background noise. Their neutral colour and subtle texture integrate naturally into the overall design, providing both visual and acoustic balance. The Figaro Group’s headquarters combine practicality and aesthetics, offering a well-balanced workspace that supports focus and collaboration.
