An Office Tailored to People’s Needs
Fencer, a rapidly growing law firm based in Brussels, sought a complete transformation of their 300 m² office space. Konrad & Fraay redesigned the existing office and integrated it with an adjacent new workspace. Key priorities were eliminating visual distractions, creating a more logical floor plan, expanding the kitchen and dining areas, and offering more options for focused work.
Soft Materials for a Calm Atmosphere
The design emphasises tactile materials that bring a sense of calm and harmony to the work environment. ReFelt’s Acoustic PET Felt Panels have been seamlessly integrated into the different areas of the design. These panels not only enhance acoustic comfort by dampening unwanted sounds but also feature a custom design with deep V-cuts. This customization allows the panels to curve easily around the office’s rounded walls, contributing to an inviting and focused atmosphere.
Working in Silence
Two freestanding silence booths are strategically placed to create natural transitions between different office zones without compromising the open floor plan. Lined with ReFelt’s Acoustic PET Felt Panels, these booths not only offer privacy but also improve the overall acoustic experience within the office. The PET Felt panels are durable and have a positive impact on workplace well-being.
